Kiersti Orr, ARNP, MSN

Nurse Practitioner located in Bellevue, WA

About Kiersti Orr

Kiersti was raised in a small town in south Texas, where she spent most of her time playing golf and fishing.  She made her way to Texas A&M where she found her passion for serving others in the healthcare field studying health education and biology.  She attended nursing school at the University of Texas at Tyler and started her nursing career at a level 1 trauma center in the Texas Medical Center.  As much as she loves southern hospitality, tex mex, and her yearly attendance at the Houston Rodeo, she found herself wishing she lived in a place where she could enjoy her passions of the mountains and skiing on a more regular basis.  This led her to pursue travel nursing which brought her to Seattle.  Once she discovered all the PNW had to offer, she knew she found her new home and has never left.

Kiersti enjoyed her time working in emergency medicine for twelve and a half years but found herself wanting more.  She wanted to be able to help her patients more holistically.  She desires to provide patients the care and education they need to prevent them from unwanted and stressful trips to the emergency department.  She aims to create trusting relationships in order to partner with patients to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease.  Her ultimate goal is to enable people to be able to function at their highest quality of life.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, backcountry skiing, camping, and traveling.  She loves visiting new places and learning about other cultures.  She believes you can never stop learning and enjoys gaining knowledge and experience in all aspects of her life.
